CITIC Group launched its 2026 "International Enterprises' China Tours" on April 23-24 in East China's Zhejiang province. Co-hosted with the government of Zhejiang province, the event has attracted over 230 companies and institutions from 23 countries and regions to participate enthusiastically, generating great results.

On April 24, the "International Enterprises' Zhejiang Tour: 'Invest in Zhejiang' Cooperation Conference" was held in Hangzhou city. Wang Hao, secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Zhejiang Provincial Committee and Xi Guohua, chairman of CITIC Group delivered speeches at the conference, which was presided over by Liu Jie, governor of East China's Zhejiang province. Participants included Zhang Wenwu, vice chairman of CITIC Group and Fang Heying and Bao Jianmin, vice presidents of CITIC Group. Sebastian Wood, chair of the China-Britain Business Council and Nan Cunhui, chairman of CHINT Group talked on behalf of international and Zhejiang enterprises respectively.

For his part, Xi Guohua stated that the event attracted nearly 100 well-known top executives from Fortune Global 500 companies, industry leaders and hidden champions to Zhejiang — fully demonstrating their firm confidence in the opportunities China offers and in Zhejiang's development, as well as their firm recognition of the CITIC brand. 

He emphasized that CITIC stood ready to work with all its partners to help integrate domestic and international markets, strengthen industries and capital, and expand market access and resources through cooperation across four areas.

Leveraging CITIC's strengths in high-end intelligent manufacturing, advanced materials, biological breeding and green environment protection, the group will work with international companies to build an industrial and supply chain layout rooted in Zhejiang with coordinated domestic and international linkages.

During the events, participating entrepreneurs visited the cities of Hangzhou, Ningbo, Huzhou and Jinhua for field trips and exchanges, and a number of project cooperation agreements were signed.

As a landmark cooperation initiative launched by CITIC Group and local governments to serve foreign trade and investment, the "International Enterprises' China Tours" have been held in Chongqing, Nanjing, Changsha, Guangdong and Shaanxi — helping to bridge the Chinese market with global enterprises.
