The 10th Hong Kong Streetathon kicked off on November 23rd, attracting over 20,000 runners from Hong Kong and around the world. For the 5th consecutive year, CITIC Pacific supported the event to ensure smooth operations and runner supplies. Adding to the festivity, nearly 470 of the company's staff and their families joined the action, hitting the track as runners or cheering loud along the course.

During the event, CITIC Pacific's subsidiaries Pacific Infrastructure Limited and Dah Chong Hong (DCH) supported the running event by operating tunnels and setting up supply stations. With experience in managing public event traffic, Pacific Infrastructure Limited implemented thorough measures to ensure runner safety and running experience while DCH set up a refreshment station at the finish line and provided healthy beverages and local Hong Kong-style snacks for runners, adding a taste of local culture to the event.

Runners on the 10-kilometer route enjoyed breathtaking sea views and a unique cross-bay running experience as they passed through the Cross-Bay Link in Tseung Kwan O. This bridge, the longest span and heaviest steel arch bridge in Hong Kong, was constructed using CITIC Pacific Special Steel's ultra-high-strength steel plates. 

First held in 2014, the Hong Kong Street Marathon is an annual flagship event that combines running with local cultural experiences, allowing participants to explore the city's authentic urban landscape and street culture while engaging in sports activity. This year, as it celebrates its milestone 10th edition, the event featured the theme "Run Our Street, Draw Your Story", integrating art, community, and sports to showcase Hong Kong's creativity and metropolitan energy. CITIC Pacific will continue to collaborate with various sectors to help establish street running as a defining urban emblem of Hong Kong.
