On June 18th, 2011, CITIC Medical & Health Group Co., Ltd was officially established in Shenzhen. Mr. Dou Jianzhong, Executive Director and Vice President of CITIC Group and Mr. Guo Zhirong, Director of CITIC Group and Chairman of CITIC Medical & Health Group Co., Ltd attended the opening ceremony and unveiled the plaque for the new company.

After the unveiling ceremony, CITIC Medical & Health Group signed agreements with CITIC International Assets Management Ltd., CITIC Heavy Industries Co., Ltd., Beijing Sun City Group and Peking Union Medical College Hospital Huizhou Branch respectively for their cooperation projects. In addition, the company signed strategic cooperation framework agreements with China Construction Bank Shenzhen Branch and Industrial Bank Shenzhen Branch respectively.

Mr. Dou Jianzhong, Executive Director and Vice President of CITIC Group, made the remarks at the opening ceremony. First of all, he extended sincere congratulations to the founding of CITIC Medical & Health Group on behalf of CITIC Group. He pointed out that the establishment of CITIC Medical & Health Group marked a new step which had been made by CITIC Group on the way to medical and health industry. As a first-tier subsidiary, CITIC Medical & Health Group will cast its eyes on medical management, health management, medicine and the elderly caring thus gradually form all the businesses into a whole industrial chain. Mr. Dou Jianzhong also expressed that CITIC Group would show strong support to push forward the rapid development of the company and become a rising star in the medical and health industry.

After restructuring, CITIC Medical & Health Group Co., Ltd will provide an integrated series of service including health check, insurance, medicare, health preserving and senior care service to high-end clients from newborn babies to the elderly. The company will continue its efforts to provide new medical and health service to all the consumers.
