On June 17, the 2026 Beijing CBD International Financial Forum and CITIC Global Wealth and Investment Conference was successfully held in Beijing, bringing together government officials and nearly 400 representatives from global financial institutions, technology companies and research organizations. Under the theme "Wealth Drives Growth, Investment Leads the Future," participants exchanged views on global investment cooperation, the transformation of wealth management, long-term asset allocation and investment opportunities in future-oriented industries.

Zhang Wenwu, vice-chairman and president of CITIC Group, highlighted Beijing CBD as both a frontier for the capital's financial opening-up and a vital platform for global capital to share in China's development opportunities. He noted that the conference provided a key opportunity for CITIC Group and Chaoyang district to deepen international exchanges and cooperation. 

Looking ahead, Zhang outlined three priority areas for CITIC Group: better serving the real economy, supporting global asset allocation and contributing to high-quality local development.

During the event, the Chaoyang District Government, together with CITIC Financial Holdings and several financial institutions, launched a joint initiative to work collaboratively and proactively toward helping Chaoyang build a Beijing Practice Benchmark for five financial priorities. The conference also showcased the "CITIC Entrepreneur Office – Tech Entrepreneur" service, offering onestop financial solutions for tech enterprises across six future industries.

In the roundtable session, participants discussed investment opportunities in future industries, covering trends in technological innovation, new quality productive forces, capital empowerment, new spaces for industry-finance integration, and emerging investment tracks. The dialogue aimed to foster a "technology-industry-finance" cycle and better support future industries.
