The 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) is in full swing in Xiamen. Running from Sept 8 to 11, the event brings together economic and trade delegations from nearly 100 countries and regions, serving as a key platform for global two-way investment cooperation.

CITIC Group's exhibition area, hosted by CITIC Financial Holdings, highlights development achievements across CITIC's three core businesses — finance, industry, and investment. It features over 20 exhibits from 17 of CITIC Group companies and nine industrial chain partners.

During the fair, China CITIC Bank shares its cross-border financial services at the CIPS (Cross-border Interbank Payment System) Exhibition on Bank-Enterprise Collaboration (CEBEC). It has established cross-border financial cooperation with Deutsche Bank and Standard Chartered to launch one-stop services for minor currencies, and has partnered with Altyn Bank and Xiamen King Long Motor Group for a tripartite strategic cooperation on cross-border RMB payment services. CITIC Securities and China Securities also showcases their achievements in cross-border financial solutions and internationalization, facilitating efficient connections between domestic industries and global investors.

For the industry sector, the CITIC exhibition area highlights core achievements and benchmark projects in traditional industry transformation, growth enterprise incubation, and forward-looking layout in frontier sectors.

For the investment sector, CITIC has built three investment platforms — CITIC Pacific, CITIC Industrial Investment, and CITIC Investment Holdings — forming a full-cycle, multidimensional investment matrix. These platforms identify quality targets, coordinate industrial and capital resources, enhance full-process equity investment services, and bridge the two-way investment channels for Chinese enterprises and foreign capital.

CITIC also invites leading companies in embodied intelligence, quantum technology, and biomedicine to showcase sci-tech achievements and build a diverse innovation ecosystem.

For the duration of the fair, CITIC Financial Holdings has also planned 13 themed activities, including roadshows, roundtable discussions, investment matchmaking, keynote speeches, signing ceremonies, and product launches. Experts from CITIC Think Tank, along with representatives from industry and investment institutions, have been invited to share insights on frontier industries and explore cross-border investment opportunities and cooperation. A special report on China's equity market performance will also be released. These activities will help build an efficient and practical exchange platform, further expanding cross-border connectivity and two-way investment cooperation.
