CITIC Securities Co., Ltd. (CITICS) is the largest securities company in China, with businesses covering investment banking, brokerage, securities trading and asset management. Set up in 1995, it is one of the first comprehensive securities companies approved by Chinese Securities Regulatory Commission. In 2003, CITICS became the first broker listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE: 600030). In 2011, it was listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (SEHK: 6030), becoming the first broker listed both in Mainland China and Honk Kong markets. In 2013, CITICS acquired CLSA, a leading broker and investment bank in Asia.
CITICS is now China's largest securities company in terms of capital, with total assets of RMB625.6 billion, net assets of RMB149.8 billion and net capital of 86.7 billion. By the end of 2017, CITICS recorded total revenue of RMB 43.3 billion and net profit of RMB 11.4 billion, ranking first among domestic peers.
